22 years ago, after my first Ironman triathlon, I kept training 2+ hours per day to cope with stressors until my body was shutting down. I was wired, tired and everything hurt. I needed to learn how to fuel my body, eat real food instead of energy bars and coffee, and manage my stress differently.
I had to learn how I got sick, the “how did I get here?” question, so I could really recover and be my new best self and athlete again……
