Food can either feed your symptoms, or fuel your recovery, your energy, your thinking, and your sleep.

Part of my job is to help you make the connection between what you eat and your symptoms. It is like connecting the dots…and once you connect THE food with THE symptoms, it makes it a heck of lot easier to eat less of those trigger foods.
So yes, what you eat DOES matter. And if we are talking about inflammation, then pain is worse with certain foods. But pain can also go away by replacing those foods with safe ones! I know this personally having had arthritis in my hips. I was pain free going into the first surgery…and 12 years later, with a worse hip, I was also pain free which surprised my surgeon.
I have a client who has arthritis. They had a hip replacement several years ago and I helped them get through that with ease. Now, they are having the other hip replaced, but also have spondylosis in the neck and migraines regularly. Plus some crazy sinus issues.
So pain is part of their every day. And yeah, it sux. But they saw how well I was doing (On Facebook) with my degenerated hip and being pain-free, and want in on the plan!

When I looked over their food logs, I saw a pattern and yes, they said ‘I’ll do anything to be out of pain!’
So we went thru every item they ate that included wheat and I gave them all the safe options.
Since they also had crippling sinus congestion, we also decided to replace that trigger food. Same thing, replaced all the cow milk products with safe options. Come to learn they also cannot do cashew or coconut…so a few less ‘safe’ options. But we still had a good list of options that didn’t taste like dirt or paste.
Within 2 weeks at our follow up….they said:
‘I can’t believe it, I can breathe clearly thru my nose! My migraines are gone and I can move better without the pain!”
This time, they discovered new foods they love even better than the cow milk based ones, plus it registered –
– if it IS inflammatory before surgery, it IS inflammatory after surgery too. So yes, what you eat DOES matter. Especially with pain, chronic GI issues and auto-immune symptoms. And we can help!
