How do I travel with my JShake? Well, if I am driving, I can make a huge batch in my blender, and put them into glass bottles and put them into a cooler!
But if I am traveling by plane….well, there an easy solution… When traveling by plane, we all know we cannot take liquids on the plane. The JShake is a liquid for sure. Yes, I can drink one on the way to the airport the morning of the flight. But then what??
Depending on which family member I am staying with, making the JShake while there can be an option if they have a Whole Foods or similar kind of market near them AND a blender like a Vitamix. But his may also be more work than necessary as I can take supplements instead.
I wrote a few weeks back how I stopped taking the anti-inflammatory supplements and I forgot to drink my JShake, too for several days…and I woke up with joints that felt about 40 years older than I really am. Not doing THAT again just because I am traveling! I want to maintain my youthful joints and I want that for you as well! I want to enjoy the trip, but not feel debilitated once I return.
So I take my 3 supplements, continue to follow my Anti-Inflammatory protocol as best as I can, but not have to suffer 3 days into a trip wishing I had done something differently! And have to do an intensive anti-inflammatory protocol upon my return!
The 3 supplements I will take with me when traveling by plane to aid in my anti-inflammatory protocol are:
Inflavonoid Intensive Care – I take 2 per day, but may need 3 while traveling.
OmegaGenics SPM Active – I take 1-2 daily, may need 3 daily while traveling.
PhytoGanix powdered greens – they come in a box of single serving packets which make it really easy to travel with just the amount I need for the days I am away.
These are available through Metagenics – they make medical grade supplements available only thru qualified practitioners.
Supplements are not always the answer, and always work better when coupled with an anti-inflammatory nutrition plan. But that doesn’t mean supplement like these do not have their place every day or just once in awhile.
If you are traveling by plane, consider taking the supplements with you since I haven’t figure out how to travel with the JShake yet.
