We can choose to be happy. Or we can choose to be unhappy and feel like a victim. These are both choices. Neither of which is good or bad; they just are choices. Choosing happiness is a much better state of mind and state of body. Feelings of love swirl in my body when I choose happiness. It has been a lesson of life I have been working on for some time. I have used Path To Heal sessions, essential oils, prayer and various other things to help me choose happiness. If you are open to finding and choosing happiness, happiness might be delivered to you in a cup….
This past Tuesday, I had another installment session of my A Path To Body Balance course, which has really been amazing in terms of identifying underlying emotional attachments to negative emotions. They are cleared with the help of tuning forks, crystals and essential oils – all healing the emotions and helping us find happiness, unconditional love and self-acceptance. In this case, all of this is so we can be our true selves without judgement, shame or guilt and choose foods that naturally feed our souls, rather than the hurt emotions and ego.
When you find your happiness, you choose foods that are naturally healthier for you.
You can then ignore the voices of all those experts in your head and choose foods from your heart.
You can nourish your soul, and stop feeding the hurt emotions. You can release food compulsions.
I forget the exact sequence of the session this past Tuesday, but it was about seeing ourselves as beautiful, happy and joyful now, in this moment and in every moment. We can choose happiness at this and every moment.
I went to a business meeting in a local coffee shop, The Zen Den. We meet there every other Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM discussing social media and other business issues that holistic practitioners can share and work through. This week, I had asked the barista, Michael, to surprise me with my coffee drink. He always makes some great combinations with my non-dairy milk frothed and some lovely flavor combination, but not too sweet. Just for me.
“I will being it over to you. Where are you sitting?”
“Over there in the back corner table.”
Off I went and waited for my surprise latte drink and joined my group.
This was the best surprise ever – and I am quite certain that the Path To Heal session from the night before had a huge part in this amazing offering of happiness.
Who knew happiness could come in a cup of latte??
This quickly became my screen saver and my cover photo on Facebook. I quickly shared it on my page and tagged the shop and I tagged Michael, too.
I believe happiness can be every where, if we choose to see it and choose to allow ourselves to find it. In this case, I allowed the happiness to come to me in a cup of latte!!
Thank you Michael Szabo for making my day!
