Every day we have a choice of what we do, what we think, how we move and what we will eat.
Every day we get to examine our triggers and either react or respond with learning and growth.
I realized the other day, that I get triggered by peoples angry posts or accusations on social media.
I have learned to let those pass through me rather than land and ruminate or fester. I have learned to choose to read and let go.
I still wake up some days fearing the future and have to work at resetting myself into faith…although not always easy.
I have learned to breathe and scroll past negative or doom & gloom posts as I don’t want to be sucked in although I do want to be informed and connected. I have a choice. And so do you.
I try to practice what I teach with my clients although I still do get triggered. I do my breathing, and if that isn’t enough for me to snap back into positivity and faith, I work with fellow Path To Heal practitioners to guide me with love, compassion and understanding.
It is what I do for you, my clients, too to help you move through fear, anxiety and worry into learning and growth of who you are..and help you discover how to eat, move and sleep in alignment to your needs.
I saw this graphic on Troy Jacobson’s page and thought it is a great way to view who you want to be…regardless of the current situation.
First you have to be aware of where you are, and move through without judgement as the buried emotions can sometimes be raw when they surface.
As the graphic shows, you can be in fear, anxiety and worry, yet this will not help you learn and grow. It usually keeps you stifled and unable to make decisions. You can feel scattered, unsure and unable to move forward. This is often when energy therapy really comes in handy to shift that energy block!
As you notice where you are, you can choose to calm yourself in this storm through deep breathing, for example, or go for a walk. Then you can focus on what is going right rather than what is going wrong. You can choose to stop watching the news, or limiting your time on social media so you don’t get sucked into negativity.
As I worked with a client last week, we set the intention of “I want to learn something and see only positive posts.” Often an intention is like a silent prayer. This is the learning step 🙂
And it did lessen the exposure to negativity seen on social media and less of a feeling of falling into the negativity spiral.
As you do it more, you can learn more about yourself and work towards helping others in the growth zone. This is usually a very rewarding stage where you support others in ways you may not have realized you could. And this is where your purpose is often made known between the learning and growing. It is an ongoing continuum!
I love working with clients through all these stages so you are aligned with who you are. I love working on myself through these stages as I strive to be in learning and growth consistently, even when something like a dramatic pandemic hits.

Yes, do join in on the zoom call, or schedule some time for us to work through your situation. It doesn’t have to be GI distress, fatigue or body pain which are typically worse especially in times of high stress.
Your emotional and mental state will affect how you eat, move and sleep, both negatively and positively. In times of high stress, usually you fall victim to emotional eating, not sleeping well and sometimes just sitting on the couch trying to recover from the ‘trauma’.
This is why I choose to be inspirational and supportive at this time. It is why I am compassionate, loving and understanding to you and the situation as I know it is hard for us all. I want to support you in your hardship, knowing that I have my days of hardship and emotional upheavals, too

Would I like to get paid and make some money? Absolutely, I have a mortgage and bills to pay, too.
Every day of this pandemic, you and I have a choice of where we want to go and what frame of mind we can choose.
I have a choice of where I can support my clients and those on social media. Yes, I would like to see support financially for what I am giving sometimes, yet right now, I want to just offer support, compassion and healing right now.
