I have the gift of intuition. You also have this gift. We all do.
I have the gift of The Path To Heal which has allowed me to use my intuition to guide clients to choose healthier options for themselves. We sometimes have inner turmoil and we are not sure where it is coming from. Last night, I did a session and decided to do it a bit more free flowing, while the client’s intention was to ‘identify where my body needs healing’, I get to choose other areas of focus using muscle testing and intuition. We worked on Acts of Kindness to Self.
During the Path To Heal session, I identified the subconscious obsession from childhood which has been the root of current food habits and compulsions. This caused ears of inner turmoil for my client. The desire to look like super models in the magazines since childhood, was now creating a vicious cycle of beating oneself up for making right or mostly wrong choices. Eating the wrong food, making wrong choices, not sticking with the ‘right’ plan, being on Weight Watchers and not able to stick within points before noon, etc. Then add so many experts with the ‘right’ advice yet intuitively none of them felt right. But my client ate the ‘expert’ suggested foods anyway because ‘they are healthy for me’ but made them almost gag when they ate it. So much for joy of eating! The ‘healthy’ choices like wheatgrass shots always felt wrong, tasted terrible and made them feel nauseous. Intuitively, their body said ‘no’ to this healthy food. Yet the conscious mind fought hard to believe the experts! And convince themselves that ‘it has to be right for me!” even if it weren’t. Don’t models eat this??
The Path To Heal session is the tool I use to identify the root issues of this inner turmoil. Why we create negative patterns based on illusions we create for fear of guilt, shame or embarrassment. We just want to fit in. We just want to be liked and loved. But here was an example of someone who had been wanting to be something they were not – a model in a magazine: skinny, waif and the image of beauty. The truth is, this person is beautiful. They are not overweight. They are not eating unhealthily. They are beautiful inside, as well!
Yet the relationship with themselves, with their body and with the foods they eat are fueled by this illusion of perfection in a magazine from childhood. The ‘dream’ of the session was to create ‘Acts of kindness to myself’. As we release the desire to be this ‘model’ in a magazine, we can now perform acts of kindness to ourselves as we don’t have an unrealistic expectation of who we should be. We can be happy with who we are in this very moment. We can be kind to ourselves with foods we enjoy and are healthy for us, not use ‘healthy’ potions which are ghastly to our taste buds as well as our psyche. We can now use our own intuition to know which foods make us truly happy while avoiding the foods that naturally do not agree with us.
If we can release this attachment to this illusion of perfection (as we do in The Path To Heal), we can start to heal our relationship with ourselves, with our bodies and our food. Food is not meant to be an enemy. Your body is not an enemy. Food is your friend. your body is your friend – a dear one at that! Rework your relationship with food and yourself, and only then will you find complete happiness and joy. Fall in love with yourself completely! The Path To Heal can help do this.
I am creating a new program based on this session called A Path To Body Balance. More information can be found on the classes page. The 8-Week group phone session will start October 27th. It will be offered quarterly or may become a longer ongoing program.
